Question: Can you tell me more about the wood you use and where they come from?

Answer:

Teak - From Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan, widely known through out the world as a very high quality wood with golden grain. Access is very good for this wood and would be the best option for your large scale production.

Mahogany - From Java and Sumatra, also widely known through out the world as a very high quality wood with dark grain. Though Indonesian mahogany is easy to find the quality is not the same as the teak found here.

Ebony - Available but expensive and not accessible in high volume. Sono - Similar to Ebony

Pine - Easy to find but the same quality as found in NZ and the US.

We have access to another 10-20 types of woods but the varieties listed above are the most commonly used here, varieties not listed above are used only for carvings, or very exclusive pieces.
